These guidelines will give you details on how Educate the Planet Foundation operates and how we structure our scholarship application process and policies.
To apply for a scholarship, you will need:
Please make sure you have the following documents ready when you apply:
Please note that if you fail to provide any of the documents requested by the Educate the Planet advisor(s) your application will be voided.
All Educate the Planet scholarship applications undergo the following review stages:
Stage 1. Initial eligibility check
Applications are checked by the Educate the Planet Scholarship Committee and our Student Advisors on initial eligibility criteria such as current level of education, degree qualifications, English language ability (for certain courses), visa eligibility, etc.
Stage 2. Applications scoring and shortlisting
Accepted applications are then checked by Educate the Planet education partners and are independently scored against Educate the Planet objectives and the potential of a candidate to meet those objectives. Special attention is given to candidates’ background, experience and motivation to make sure the selected place for study and the course correspond to the relevant subject area.
All applications which match partners’ and Educate the Planet’s eligibility criteria are shortlisted and nominated for the Award Committee review session.
Stage 3. Award Committee voting
All shortlisted applications are voted for by Educate the Planet’s advisors during the Award Committee sessions. The advisors select final candidates from the list of nominees and award them scholarships.
Some partnerships may vary slightly from this model, with applications considered by the partner in accordance with Educate the Planet’s objectives and eligibility criteria.
Please note that scholarships are awarded through a rigorously controlled process. Any attempts to violate Educate the Planet policies could lead to your application being declared void.
