Educate the Planet (‘EtP’) is a nonprofit company registered under the UK law (no: 09826651).

The following explain the terms and conditions of use of our website, and all other Educate the Planet owned online resources. By using the site you are deemed to have accepted these terms.


‘Our website’ means all Educate the Planet owned and run websites and online resources, including their downloadable content.

Availability of the site and its content

Whilst we try to ensure that our site and online resources are available 24 hours a day, we do not guarantee that they will be.

We reserve the right to suspend access without notice, either temporarily or permanently, to all or part of the site. We will not be held liable for any such suspension and potential losses users may have due to suspension.

General disclaimers

All our website terms and conditions are governed by English Law.

No content on our site shall constitute financial advice. If you require financial advice you should consult a recognised financial advisor.

This website is under constant development and is subject to change without prior notice.

Educate the Planet makes every effort to ensure that its computer infrastructure is free from viruses but accepts no liability for damage caused by viruses acquired by the Educate the Planet website.

Acceptable use

If you breach these Terms, your permission to use this Website terminates immediately. Where EtP determines, at their sole discretion, that a breach of these Terms has occurred, EtP may take such action as it deems appropriate, including, but not limited to, initiating legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis resulting from the breach.

Unless otherwise indicated, all content (including but not limited to text, graphics, photos, videos and code) on this site is owned by Educate the Planet.

Our website includes links to and descriptions of other sites not owned by Educate the Planet.

We reserve the right to moderate or remove any comments or other user generated content placed on this site.

Registration and usage of your data

During email sign up / programme enquiry on this site you are asked to provide your email address, name, job title and other details.

We will use your name and email address, and any preferences given, to send you our e-newsletter, and for sending you information about our news and offers.

You may unsubscribe from the e-newsletter and other email communications at any time either through an ‘unsubscribe’ link present at the foot of every e-newsletter, or by emailing unsubscribe@educatetheplanet.world  with a request to be unsubscribed.

We will never give your data to third parties for any other reason without your express permission.

These clauses also apply if you give us your data over the phone.

Address details collected will only ever be used to send your order, if hard copies are requested, as well as any related follow up resources (such as a newer version of a resource you have previously requested).

‘Whistleblowing’ is reporting information about suspected malpractice, wrongdoing or danger that has not otherwise been disclosed, or where attempts have been made to conceal it.

Staff or applicants should report suspected wrongdoing, malpractice or danger as soon as possible, in the knowledge that their concerns will be taken seriously and investigated as appropriate, and that their confidentiality will be respected. Staff or applicants should be reassured that they can raise genuine concerns in good faith without fear of reprisals, even if they turn out to be mistaken.

Donations and payments

Your payment details, including your credit or debit card details, will be held in our system to help in the event of a problem with any donation you make via the Website.

This Website uses encryption security software in areas where online payment details are accepted to help reduce the risk of a loss of information and payments transmitted via the Internet.

EtP does not guarantee the security of such online transactions.

Any loss incurred or sustained by you when transmitting information via the Website shall be borne solely and exclusively by you and in no event shall any such loss in whole or in part be borne by EtP.

All information collected during the completion of online donations and payments is confidential and used strictly for the purposes of processing your donation.

Under no circumstances shall we be deemed to have received payment until payment has actually been received by us in full.

By making payment you confirm that you are authorised user and owner of your card, bank account, etc.

Any payment made at our website is not refundable in any circumstances and without prejudice.

Limitation of liability

Our liability to you for any direct losses arising out of our negligence breach of any contract or any other cause of action arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be limited to the fee you have paid. This does not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you in respect of:

(a) under section 2(3) of the Consumer Protection Act 1987;

(b) for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

(c) for any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude or limit, our liability.

Other than in respect of liability referred to in above, without prejudice Educate The Planet shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever for any loss of profits, loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity or your liabilities to third parties which you or any third party may suffer however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise.

The information in our Site may be updated from time to time and may be out of date when read or viewed by you. No responsibility for keeping such information in these pages up to date is taken by us or liability for not doing so.

EtP cannot guarantee that this website is free from computer viruses or any other malicious or impairing computer program. You should therefore ensure that you employ all reasonable precautions when accessing the Member’s Area or downloading files. Technical inaccuracies and typographical errors may appear on the pages of the website from time to time.

EtP shall have no liability (including liability for negligence) for the acts or omissions of telecommunications service providers or for failures of, or faults in their networks and equipment.

EtP reserve the right to change prices, information and specifications relating to the services from time to time.


EtP reserves the right to terminate, suspend or alter the content of this Website and to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of this Website after alteration of these Terms shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of such alterations.

Other terms

If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect under the law of any jurisdiction:

  •      the validity, legality and enforceability under the law of that jurisdiction of any other provision; and
  •      the validity, legality and enforceability under the law of any other jurisdiction of that or any other provision, shall not be affected or impaired in any way thereby.

These Terms and any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim of whatever nature arising out of or in any way relating to these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us relating to these Terms.

These Terms and any documents expressly referred to in them represent the entire agreement between EtP and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between EtP and applicant/website user/visitor (you), whether oral or in writing.

If you fail, at any time, to insist upon strict performance of any of your obligations under these Terms, or if EtP fail to exercise any of the rights or remedies to which EtP are entitled under the Terms, this shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies and shall not relieve EtP from compliance with such obligations. A waiver by us of any default shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default.

If any of these Terms are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Any notices required to be served on EtP shall be served at registered address: C/O Tcs Corporate Services Ltd, 84 Brook Street, London, United Kingdom, W1K 5EH EtP may give notice to you at either the e-mail or postal address you provide to EtP when placing an application, or EtP may post the notice on our Site (where of general application). Notice will be deemed received and properly served immediately when posted on our Site, twenty-four (24) hours after an e-mail is sent, or three days after the date of posting of any letter. In proving the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that such letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an e-mail, that such e-mail was sent to the specified e-mail address of the addressee.

The agreement set out in these Terms is binding on you and EtP and on EtP’s respective successors and assigns. You may not transfer, assign, charge or otherwise dispose of the agreement set out in these Terms, or any of your rights or obligations arising under it. EtP may transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of the agreement set out under these Terms, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time during the term of the agreement set out under these Terms.
