The awarding procedure in Educate the Planet is strongly controlled to ensure unbiased and fair choice of the most prospective applicants. At first, all candidates were required to fully complete their application forms, attach the necessary documents, as well as record short self-promotional videos and submit motivation essays. As soon as all eligible applications passed the shortlisting stage, the Board of Advisors took part in an anonymous voting session to choose the most promising and talented candidates from the list. The Educate the Planet Awarding Committee consists of trusted individuals with expertise in international business, art, linguistics, environmental protection, government relations, technology, investments, and more.

Educate the Planet scholarships are a global initiative funded by the education foundation in cooperation with partner organisations, including multinational corporations, financial institutions, private organisations, educational establishments, charities, funds and individuals.
