ACCA Qualification – Details
Fundamentals is the first level of ACCA exams. It’s an essential part of the ACCA professional pathway. Fundamentals are divided into two modules: Knowledge and Skills which consist of nine papers altogether. The level covers all the technical areas that professional accountants are expected to know, such as Accountant in Business (F1), Management Accounting (F2), Financial Accounting (F3), Corporate and Business Law (F4), Performance Management (F5), Taxation (F6), Financial reporting (F7), Audit and Assurance (F8), and Financial Management (F9).
The Professional level is divided into modules, such as Essential and Options. These are required for those who aim to work in an advisory or consultancy role upon completion of the programme. Student are requested to pass three papers in the Essentials module and any two in the Options one.
Finally, all students need to pass the Professional Ethics module which is designed to underpin both studies and practical experience.
