Hi! My name is Shahin Mahmud, I’m 24 years old and I live in Dhaka Bangladesh. We are 4 members-family – I have an elder brother, my father is a teacher and mother is a home wife. My Goal is to become successful in my profession. Thank you so much for giving these opportunities for me.
I applied for the scholarship because:,/span>
1. I’m persistent. If you apply to just a handful and give up, you’re basically saying you’re not worthy of winning.
2. I’m unique. It’s up to me to find a way to highlight the special qualities I possess, so others see them, too.
3. I can overcome obstacles. I’ve traveled a bumpy road to get to where I am today, but those obstacles gave me strength. If I possess these qualities as well, I must do one more thing in order to win a scholarship.
I admire and work best with people who are of good character and have integrity. I also think confidence and enthusiasm is positive in any business environment. I have developed this strong passion towards Empowerment of women.
Therefore, I have enrolled into and completed in 2014 my Bachelor studies of Law at the Stamford University. Though my life I have been often involved in volunteering, in order to gain experience, but also to give my personal contribution to the community. Before attending university, I volunteered Care Bangladesh where I have been supporting elderly.
I want to take advantage of the quality education offered to develop my intellectual abilities and personal growth. I want to become completely proficient this Course and it will help me to do many option for empowerment of women and establish their rights.
